Heavy D & Mac in the Morning Poll (12/15/11)
Which ice cream bar is superior?
a) Snickers Ice Cream Bar
b) Twix Ice Cream Bar
*Please do not vote on this poll based on the candy bar. The candy bar experience and the ice cream bar experience are completely different. If you have yet to try both ice cream bars, treat yourself to a $3.78 treat — that is for both delectables (each bar is usually $1.89 without tax) — on your way home from work or school.

The Snickers Ice Cream Bar is the clear winner in this race. As you bite down on the rich milk chocolate you receive, not only a magnificently succulent blend of caramel and nougat, but an aura of goodness that magnifies the room and causes anything you touch to turn to gold. Its perfection gives it such divine nature, that one would think this was a food directly from Jannah. Just imagine a Snickers Ice Cream Bar in Jannah! Oh God….it’s so beautiful….
On the other hand, the Twix Ice Cream Bar is just a frozen twix bar. Nothing else to say there.

I would have to say the Snickers Ice cream bar not only because of its true harmony of flavors but also because of the memories surrounded with it. While the Twix Ice cream bar feels like… just another ice cream.

Although I would personally like to refrain from name calling and embarrassing our readers, I have to question their (those who side with Snickers) credibility. Twix ice cream bar not only surpasses Snickers ice cream bar by the sheer quality of its ice cream, its caramel is smoother and sweeter, the chocolate coating is not experiencing an identity crisis trying to figure out whether or not it is dark chocolate or milk chocolate, and the cookie crunch has a subtle, simple flavor with a substantial crunch. Furthermore, the Twix ice cream bar does something the Snickers ice cream bar can never do: it draws attention to the succulent nature of each individual ingredient, while not taking away from the beautiful symphony created by their inherent compliment. Twix ice cream bar, you are art and reality, beauty and genius, love and wisdom, all wrapped into one wholesome treat.

Twix Ice Cream Bar. All day.

Clearly someone is living in a fantasy world. Twix ice cream bars pale in comparison to the Snickers bar. The Twix bar quakes in its frozen boots when a new batch of Snickers ice cream bars is deposited into the freezer case of gas stations across the country (a frequent occurrence due the high demand of Snickers ice cream bars). Twix leaves the mouth with much to be desired. Any sort of “crunch” that could come from the imitation cookie matter found in the Twix bar suffers from inferiority complex (and rightly so) when compared to the full, gratifying CRUNCH of the real peanuts of the Snickers bar. The balance achieved in he Snickers bar is nothing short of a modern-day miracle, unequaled and unrivaled by any other ice cream bar on the market. Indeed, such a culinary masterpiece has’t been seen since the combining of rooh and afza.

Heavy D, you are my hero.

Snickers Ice cream bar. I won’t try to compete with the poetic waxings of prior comments, just take my word for it.

Don’t take Heavy D as your hero. How many times has someone looked up to Magneto or Megatron, only to realize later that they were duped into the dark side.

I cannot trust a man who tells me that a Twix Ice Cream bar is better than a Snickers Ice Cream bar. Mac, I’m going to need more time to regain your trust. I’m sorry.

Again Mac I find your conclusions very shallow minded, indeed Megatron is evil but I must criticize your baseless conclusion in calling Magneto part of the “dark side”. So like villains and heroes, my ice cream and its characteristics are sometimes misunderstood by the world. You must find the subtle harmonies that contribute to the whole experience. And then and only then when you are at peace with yourself may you find the REAL truth of which Ice Cream is better… *cough snickers cough *

There’s much to be said about an ice cream bar that uses a component for its “perfection” to which a growing population of our society is allergic. Because of their elitist use of peanuts, my youngest son can never have a Snickers ice cream bar. Is this scorning and shunning a valuable demographic what you Snickericons celebrate?! Shame on you, Snickers; shame on you.

It is simply natural selection. Do not fight it. Accept it.

I would think that you may have learned a little more at IMSA, but I guess they’re not all they were cracked up to be. The Prophet (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) was all-inclusive; for him there was no natural selection.
